Originally
known as the Oasis Fitness Club, Marlow's leading health and fitness
facility opened its doors in 198x.
It featured a multi-level gymnasium and
small outdoor swimming pool.

The current owners, Really Fine Leisure Co. Ltd., made a significant investment and began a major refurbishment programme in 2004, re-equipping the gym and re-launching with a fresh new image as "The Marlow Club".
Great plans were already in place to redesign many areas of the Club and
enhance facilities for the growing membership. Upper-most was the desire to
ensure access to an all-year-round swimming pool.
The Marlow Club's massive redevelopment project produced our new Pool Complex
which includes a 20m indoor heated swimming pool complete with new steam and sauna
facilities, an upper and lower sundeck and fully refurbished male and female
changing rooms.
Opened in January 2006,
the pool complex is light and airy with large sliding doors and roof lights,
keeping the room warm in the cold winters and opening out onto the sundeck in
the summer.
The steam and sauna areas, are larger than the previous areas (over
120sq ft each), and are situated alongside the pool, together with the poolside
showers.
Direct access to a lower and new upper sundecks is possible from both the pool and gym areas respectively. For the most part, the upper sundeck is available for rest, relaxation and sun worship, but also provides an ideal party venue.
